Easter at hotel BLUE
Spending Easter in Myrtle Beach is one of the best things that you can do this spring! With average April temps in the 70s, you are sure to enjoy the weather and fun in the sun this Easter!
Head to the beach and get ready to have some fun! Our other building, Captain’s Quarters Resort, will be hosting some fun Easter activities this year that all hotel BLUE guests are invited to attend!
While some of the activities are geared towards children, there is plenty of fun to be had by the adults in attendance as well!
The festivities begin at 4 p.m. on Saturday, the day before Easter. Greg Holt will be present to put on his popular Balloon and Magic Show which has been known to “wow” adults just as much as it does with younger kids.
Additionally, Captain Sneaky and Tiki Bird will be there. Grab your phone and get a photo of you with the Captain! Or, make it a group photo with you and your friends for a vacation photo you will never forget!
Beginning at 5 p.m. there will be a delicious Easter Cook-Out which will include a hamburger or two hot dogs plus chips for just $5. Cans of soda can be purchased for just $1. If you’re lucky, the Soggy Dollar Pool Bar might even be open for the season by then where you can get a Voodoo Bucket while enjoy amazing views of the ocean.
Then, at 7:30 p.m., as the sun begins to set, Chief Kamu will put on his ever-popular Fire and Hula Show! Grab a seat and a drink and enjoy the fire show as Chief Kamu teaches the crowd how to hula dance then ends the show with a spectacular display of fire and tricks!
There will also be other festivities in Myrtle Beach that weekend including fireworks at Broadway at the Beach at 9 p.m. on April 19. If you are planning to stay a few extra days past the weekend, be sure to check out the Myrtle Beach Film Festival from April 23 to 25 and the Run Like a Diva Half Marathon in North Myrtle Beach on April 27. Make your Easter getaway an entire week of fun!
