Myrtle Beach Cinco de Mayo Parties
Myrtle Beach is a fun place any time of the year, but visiting during a holiday, like Cinco de Mayo can make it even more fun! Below is a list of fun parties and events taking place for this upcoming Cinco de Mayo!
Stash Dash 5-Que: Burro Loco will once again be holding the Stash Dash just a couple of days before Cinco de Mayo. On May 3rd beginning at 9 a.m. the restaurant will be the site of the start of the race. Participants will wear mustaches, sombreros and other fun costume pieces. Registered runners will receive a mustache, t-shirt, and here is the best part…a beer or margarita on the house for those of drinking age! The course for this race is considered a trail and will end with their KEGS + EGGS event. The cost for this event is $20 per person.
Cinco de Mayo Fiesta Run: Carlos’ n Charlie’s, located at Broadway at the Beach, will be hosting a Fiesta Run on May 4th. Beginning at 8:30 a.m. there will be a Mascot Family Fun Run followed by a 5K at 9 a.m. The run will take place at Broadway and entry to the race includes a t-shirt and gift bag! After the race runners will be treated to a Mexican-themed buffet to start the day out right! If you don’t want to run and would rather watch the Mascot Run, you can see the likes of Splash the Pelican, The Senor Frog and more! Registration is $30 for the 5K and $15 for the Mascot Fun Run. Following the buffet breakfast treat yourself to a day out at Broadway at the Beach.
Burrofest: Fiesta del Burro Loco will be hosting their annual Burrofest in celebration of Cinco de Mayo! In its 17th year, this festival is one you do not want to miss. It will run from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on May 5th and will feature live music, ice cold drinks, games and more! Beginning at 3 p.m. a variety of live bands will take the stage including PaperWork, Josh Brannon Band, Bullfrog and more!
