Myrtle Beach Boardwalk
The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is a fun place to spend an afternoon or evening in Myrtle Beach.
Running from Pier 14 on the north end to Second Avenue Pier on the south end, this Boardwalk is a little over a mile long.
During the day the Boardwalk is alive with visitors strolling up and down the wooden walkway and venturing out on to the beach to search for shells or just relax. Since it is conveniently located by two piers, it’s easy to jump on one for a different view of Myrtle Beach. You can gaze out over the ocean, watch the nearby fishermen or just relax.
The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk offers visitors with plenty of shopping. From the Gay Dolphin Gift Cove to t-shirt shops, the area has lots of places for those searching for gifts to take back home with after a vacation in Myrtle Beach.
Another great aspect of the Boardwalk is all of the dining options, from Moe Moons to the Bowery (where supergroup Alabama got their start), the Boardwalk has something for everyone.
In addition to shopping and dining, the Boardwalk also features the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel. Towering high above the Boardwalk, this Myrtle Beach attraction is open for rides both day and night. At night the SkyWheel lights up with a beautiful light display.
No vacation to Myrtle Beach is complete without a visit to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. Be sure to put this attraction on your list of things to do!
