Malibu’s Surf Bar & Oz Boos and Booze Halloween Party | October 28


Make plans to head out to Malibu’s and sister club Oz, located at Broadway at the Beach, on Friday, October 28 for the self-proclaimed largest Halloween party in Myrtle Beach. They will be awarding $500 to the most creative costumer, $500 to the most original, $500 to the best group and $500 to the most scandalous. You can register in advance by calling 843-444-3500 or on the night of the event before 11 p.m.


Monster’s Ball Costume Contest in Celebrity Square | October 29


A tradition of sorts, the Celebrity Square Halloween Party takes place at Broadway at the Beach – the area where nightlife thrives - on the Saturday before Halloween beginning at 8 p.m. Check out the various clubs and restaurants in the area and be sure to wear your best costume because they’ll be giving out big grand prizes (first place is a whopping $2,000!) outside in the square. This is one of the biggest Halloween parties in Myrtle Beach! Plus, if you are wearing your costume you can get in free to Crocodile Rocks, Malibu's Surf Bar, Broadway Louie's, Oz and more.


Captain’s Quarters Family Halloween Bash | October 29


Captain's Quarters Resort Halloween Party in Myrtle Beach for familiesThis all-ages party is great for families with children. Get dressed up in your best costume and compete in the costume contest! It will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. on the oceanfront pool deck. Entry is free and will feature a Halloween glow party and a DJ spinning tunes all evening long. There will be prizes, giveaway and more! Glow and LED merchandise will be available for purchase at this family-friendly event.


BOO-RRO Bash | October 29


If you want to sip on a margarita and enjoy some chips and salsa while enjoying Halloween in Myrtle Beach, check out the BOO-RRO Bash at Burro Loco. Beginning at 4 p.m., they will have a costume contest, DJ and happy hour specials. The costume contest will feature $500 in prizes.


Haunted Houses | Ongoing


There are a variety of haunted houses in the area if you are ready to be scared! Options include Terror Under the Bridge at the X Sports Gym, Dr. Screams at Broadway at the Beach (at the former Magiquest building) and at the House of Blues at Barefoot Landing as well as Ripley’s Haunted Adventure and Nightmare Haunted House, both located near the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk.
