“Dinosaurs” The Exhibition” at Broadway at the Beach: Whether you have kids that love dinosaurs or you want to feel like a kid again and learn more about these creatures that once roamed our land, you will definitely want to check out this new exhibit in Myrtle Beach. Featuring 20 animatronic dinosaurs, you can get up close to these giants while you meander through the 8,000-square foot attraction. Located by Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville, this exhibit takes the place of the Encounters: UFO Experience that was hosted in Myrtle Beach. You can check out the dinosaur exhibit through the end of summer.
Tupelo Honey Café: A new addition to The Market Common restaurant lineup, this southern café and bar features an extensive beer menu and plenty of home-style dishes. Their menu consists of classics like Fried Green Tomatoes, Warm Pimento Cheese and Shrimp and Grits, but all of their items are fresh made with a strong emphasis on where their ingredients originate from. They offer a variety of small plates, salads, sandwiches, seasonal options, supper plates, farm fresh sides and house-made drinks including hand-made sodas and rosemary-peach lemonade. Their beer options range from bottles to draft and include a large array of regional and seasonal options.
New Flights: If you prefer to get to Myrtle Beach via an airport instead of spending hours in the car, you may be excited to hear that a variety of additional seasonal flights were added to the Myrtle Beach International Airport’s lineup. You can now fly direct from Cleveland to Myrtle Beach on Spirit or grab one of the new Allegiant flights including Akron/Canton, Ohio; Clarksburg, West Virginia; Indianapolis, Indiana; Orlando, Florida; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Carnival of Magic: A nearby show, Carnival of Magic is taking place at the Palace Theatre beginning on March 31 running through August 29. It will feature magic and mystery as well as new illusions, special effects, tricks and more! Tickets are on sale now.
Country Roads Bar & Grill: A new addition to the Celebrity Square lineup at Broadway at the Beach, this new bar and grill will feature line dancing, a moonshine bar, craft beer options, country music and bands as well as a full food menu. It is touted as the biggest country and western bar on the Grand Strand. Be sure to check it out!
