The Grand Strand extends for 60 miles and Surfside Beach is another jewel along the way. When you visit Myrtle Beach you must head south and check out a few highlights of Surfside Beach.Brookgreen Gardens: This is one of our favorite places to visit in any season. Brookgreen Gardens has different set-ups and events to reflect the season and holidays. Our favorite set up is Halloween when the grounds are decked out in pumpkins and straw! They also do a “princess” showcase every little girl loves! The sculpture park is something grand to behold as well! Take a dollar off for up to four adults with your VMB Card.
Harbor Light Ballyard and Batting Cages: Let your competitive side come out and take your family to the batting cages! It is a great way to work off dinner and tucker your kids and spouse out for bed! It is just $20.00 for 250 pitches and they are open until 10:00 p.m. each night, plenty of time to show off your baseball and softball skills.
