Check out our roundup of the nearby highlights of what’s new in Myrtle Beach this season and what’s coming soon!

Brass Tap | Restaurant | The Market Common

A new addition to the restaurant scene at The Market Common, Brass Tap opened its doors early this year. They pride themselves in offering more than 200 craft beers to choose from in bottles and on draught at an array of price points. They also have a delicious menu including options such as Prime Rib Nachos, Tempura Chicken Sliders, Cowboy Burger, Chicken Tacos and Quinoa Power Bowl, just to name a few. The Brass Tap is only about 3.5 miles from hotel BLUE and is open for lunch, dinner and late night.

The Chemist | Restaurant | Downtown Myrtle Beach

Opening this past fall, The Chemist is a new addition to 9th Avenue North, just a block back from the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. Featuring craft cocktails and modern dinner cuisine this restaurant and bar mixes flavors together for the perfect tastes. A sister restaurant of ART Burger Sushi Bar, they offer up such cocktails as Mad Scientist, Thyme Machine and Gin Fusion and dishes like Liquid Nitrogen Tuna, Buck Rabbit and Harissa-Rubbed Cornish Hen. Be prepared to take your taste buds on an adventure at this new Myrtle Beach restaurant, located just about a mile and half from hotel BLUE.

Radical Ropes Adventure Park | Attraction | South Myrtle Beach

Radical Ropes opened late summer of 2015 so to many Myrtle Beach visitors, it may still be a new attraction. Open seasonally, it features eight ziplines, an obstacle course, climbing wall and a children’s zipline/obstacle course. Radical Ropes is located off Hwy 17 Business, less than a mile from hotel BLUE.

Coming Soon to Myrtle Beach

Rendering of the new Hard Rock Cafe location at Broadway at the BeachThese places are not quite open yet but they are coming soon and we are excited for their arrival!

  • Broadway at the Beach is undergoing several changes including an upcoming move by Hard Rock Café to the former Broadway Louie’s location (don’t worry, Broadway Louie’s is still in the same section of Broadway, just in a different building), and the addition of some exciting new dining options including Dave & Buster’s, American Tap House as well as a new nightclub option called OZ. Plans have also been submitted for the possibility of opening up of 21,000-square-foot Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen at Broadway at the Beach.

  • Fun Warehouse, located off Hwy 544, just about a 12 minute drive south, plans to add on even more fun to their already bustling business. A multi-level indoor/outdoor go-kart track and mini-golf course is planned to open up on the property this year.

  • HighFlyer, an indoor trampoline park, is planning to open soon on George Bishop Parkway at the X Gym and will be composed of 20,000 square feet with a trampoline field, trampoline dodgeball, foam pit and more. Rockin’ Jump is another trampoline park coming to Myrtle Beach on Oak Street. Set to open sometime this spring, it will feature birthday parties, dodgeball, rock climbing and more in its 23,000 square-foot facility.

This is just a sampling of what is new in Myrtle Beach and what is coming soon! Be sure to book your vacation now so you can check out all of the new sights and sounds of Myrtle Beach!
